For decades, visitors explored the dark corridors of the Bear Cave, which housed grizzly bears. After it closed in 2023, the attraction appeared to have ended, but it unexpectedly reopened in 2026. It is now closely linked to the Lost Trails of Roanoke above it, with both attractions drawing on the legend of the lost English colony.
